OUR HISTORY

​

FIAT Youth Ministry was first established in Miri by The Diocese of Miri. Back in 2002, FIAT Youth Bintulu (FYB) was then established by Rev. Fr. Michael Jok in conjunction with the preparation of the 4th Miri Youth Day where Bintulu will be the host for the event.

​

Devoted and active youth of St. Anthony's Church Bintulu were chosen to be the committee members of FIAT Bintulu and they were trained to be the builder of the Roman Catholic Church specifically serving the youth and the church in Bintulu.

​

Since then, members of the ministry keep growing and more activities and events organised by the youth for the youth itself to show their love to God and spread the words of God.
